All Inclusive Package, how does it work?

Recommended Posts

Hi, we are already booked for this year, paying as we go, but are starting to think about next summer. If we buy the drinks package how do you know what is included ie which drinks are classed as Premium.

As a couple can we order a bottle of white and a bottle of red with our evening meal.

Secondly if we met another couple and wanted to be sociable can we order drinks for them on our cards?

We don't want to be greedy or cheat the system just don't want to be embarrassed or caught unawares. Thanks

The menus in the bars have the prices on if you are PAYG and if there is price in brackets next to them, that is the price you will pay if you have the Drinks Package. Anything without a price in brackets is free with Drinks Package (hope that makes sense :))

You cannot buy drinks for anyone else. You are only allowed to buy 1 drink at a time per card.

You do not get bottles of wine with the Drinks Package. The waiters will serve you with glasses of wine and at dinner and will top it up as much as you like :D

Hope this helps :)

As well as the answers on here when you are on the cruise this year you will see the bar menu noted with what is included and what is extra etc

Sadly no - it is wine by the glass

A definate no to this and you would be charged for their drinks.

Hope the above helps a little more !

If you are looking at next summer and book early enough, i think the AI will be free anyway?

Thanks all, you've cleared up my queries. Were booked on Spirit to do Arctic Adventure in July and the AI is over £700 so that was out! I've been following threads re new home ports for 2015 and am hoping to see what Croatia itineraries are like, I believe they go on sale end of April so on the assumption early booking is the best deal I hope AI is included.

It's strange isn't it, all inclusive doesn't actually mean everything is all inclusive. Think it breaches the trading standards really. It has definitely been sold to us as ' all inclusive' by the TA, who really pushed it.
