FLL Restaurant....can anyone tell me the name of it PLEASE !

A couple of months back I came across the name of a restaurant in FLL where the outside dining area had swinging hammock style seating (sorry if thats not the correct name for them in the US) It looked like a fun thing and if my memory is working at all LOL the Menu looked quite good too.

 

I could have sworn that I book marked it but I cannot find it at all.

 

Wondered if anyone can jog my memory or remember the name of it.

 

Thank you in advance for preventing me from going crazy trying to remember the name.

Not sure, but I think it is the Oasis on Ft. Lauderdale Beach.

So happy you brought up the Oasis Cafe (the original place with the swings, there are many imitators now). We recommend it to anyone spending any time in Fort Lauderdale. It's our favorite place to eat there too!

You're welcome. We've eaten there three times, I believe, before and after caribbean cruises. Make sure you get a good "table." (One that moves, has a cover, and a view).

Thank you to all you knid people for your advice/opinions on the Oasis, We will definately go there on our trip to FLL as it has had good reports and looks like a fun place to go.

With this in mind does anyone know of any other 'fun' restaurants that they could suggest we try...something a little out of the ordinary or a little novel..we will have lots of fine dining on our cruise and when we get home so something that is fun would be great....the food has to ok too !

 

Over to you good folks for some ideas.
