Vagnaard Posted April 12, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Wow Spaniel Lover, This is review seems to show all the issue the ship has. I understand why the lower rating. But I can see how these issues would not annoy other peoples as much. Thanks everyone for your time!
paulgraff Posted April 12, 2014 #27 Share Posted April 12, 2014 CCL moved the Sunshine out of NO because thats what they do all the time, it attracts people from a driving distance to come and sail on a new ship. I live in NO and have been on about 10 CCL ships over the years. I would never have sailed on the same ship ten times, its part of their marketing campaign to attract repeat business to new ships in NO, I love it when they change ships. RuthlessBoss Posted April 12, 2014 #28 Share Posted April 12, 2014 I will not cruise on the Sunshine until the rating on Cruise Critic gets above 75%, have to give the ship some time (may be a long time) to recover from its extremely bad roll out as a new ship. The ship is still getting some very bad recent reviews. Not happy with the Sunshine replacing the Dream. I don't think the Sunshine was booking well in New Orleans, but should do better in Port Canaveral... What does a rating have to do with it? A 75% isn't going to give back those public areas taken and replaced with more cabins;)
