luv2zdworld Posted April 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2014 Well, like the song says, “I’m a believer”, that is, in price drops. I had reserved 2 interior N cabins on the Jewel of the Seas for this summer, at a rate of $2536 per cabin. We are a party of 4, (DD, DS, DH and I). I had originally booked us on a Large Ocean View F cabin using the “Kids sail free” sale and DD offered to pay the difference to get the extra space (read bathroom). So I re-booked us on the lowest priced cabin I could get us in. I faithfully watched for a price drop (as an interior N cabin at $2500 sounds insane to me) and today it finally paid off. We are now booked on side by side E1s on deck 8, with a savings of $600 per cabin.:D Like I said, I’m a believer.

luv2zdworld Posted April 12, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted April 12, 2014 We also caught the price drop for almost 3k (4 cabins) and got friends to book as well. Thank you! Wonderful, Azucar100. My sister is joining us on this cruise. She had a family ocean view for her family of 6 and has been able to move to 3 cabins for the same price. burnsie Posted April 13, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2014 In March we had booked an inside for 549 a person more than I usually would pay. We went from an inside on 2 to an inside on 10 to an outside on 4. Our TA mailed us our docks and I emailed her a thank you but....we were then upgrade to a balcony on 8 where we stayed. It pays to watch the prices I am on daily especially the last three months and watch the prices closely. Sometimes it pays off. Enjoy your cruise!
