EvelynAlexa Posted April 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2014 We're thinking about booking Epic or Getaway for a test run. Smoke concerns us. We will book an ocean view cabin to avoid possible smoke coming into the balcony rooms and hallways. Is smoke a problem on the pool deck or promenade? Thx, Alex
EvelynAlexa Posted April 14, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted April 14, 2014 No response to question. Does that mean clean air? No ashtrays? No smokers? Thx. Alex
CasinoCruzGirl Posted April 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2014 I was on the Breakaway in March. There is an enclosed area for smoking on the pool deck.

katie5611 Posted April 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) I was on the Breakaway last May and Getaway in March and was always able to find open deck spaces that had clean air. I stayed in a balcony cabin both times and had no issues on the Breakaway but had smokers on one side of us on the Getaway but barely ever was on the balcony at the same time as them and the smoke smell was very faint. Getting an ocean view is a great idea and just avoid the enclosed smoking area by the pool and you should be fine.
