k9_Cop Posted April 17, 2014 #26 Share Posted April 17, 2014 No idea. we were on the port side and they had the gangways out for a long time and then they brought them in and we got on our way. They switched out comedians on Wed so maybe one of them was late. I never saw anybody get on late though. The ship kept calling 2 people that never showed up. I was port side as well and noticed how long they kept the gangways out. 2 of the other people they kept calling where at the balcony below us and they said she had her phone on, but it was an hour behind so she didn't think she was late. The Carnival people told us we got stuck in Barbados because we had to wait for the Celebrity ship next to us to leave, and they had a holdup. Carnival was paging passengers, though, so it could've been a combination of both issues. Either way, we got to St. Lucia on time the next day. AdrenalineRush Posted April 18, 2014 #28 Share Posted April 18, 2014 Thank you and you are right about being back on the Valor! PCG has a website and I emailed them directly. It was $10 per person and you just pay them when you get there. They tell you its a 12-15 min walk but its not thru the best part of town. Get a cab and it was $8 one way. It was a very relaxing day until a few folks showed up with kids and this is not a place for kids. We left shortly after they showed up. They have very lovely gardens and a beautiful pool. The food is pricey for what you get so we didnt eat there. Drinks are reasonable. There is really not much to do but lie by the pool and relax and enjoy the peace and the beautiful views. Just an Fyi you can bring your own liquor and food.. Below is an email from PCG Hi although we carry a restaurant, we do allow to bring your own liquor (and food) for a cork fee of US$ 5.00 per person and an additional US$ 5.00 fork fee if you bring your own food as well.* * Kind regards, Claudia Amory Palms Court Gardens Wilkin street Fortlands St.Kitts East Caribbean
