Destinyinspirationdream Posted April 19, 2014 #26 Share Posted April 19, 2014 Are you sure the tour company isn't called Pete Taylor Company Tours. Went there two years ago and it went by the name of Pete. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Lyncoya Posted April 19, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted April 19, 2014 Jamaica was a perfect day. I have some great video of the workers at the Blue Hole diving off the cliffs into the water. Later this weekend, when I figure out how to post the videos, I will. My husband did a few jumps too. If I ever make it back to Ocho Rios, I'd do the exact same excursion. The next port was Grand Cayman. We booked a tour with Nativeway Watersports. The tour took us to Stingray City as well as Rumpoint Beach. This was a nice day as well. Stingrays....I don't know. I got in the water for a bit...let one massage my back and that was it for me. Although they're gentle creatures, they freak me the hell out and I couldn't stay in the water for long. Here are some pics from our day... On the tender I'm on a boat!!! :) An Iquana

Pete told us that the Blue Irie Hole was a hole only his company had access too.Sent from my iPhone using Forums Maybe they are brothers. They both have the same last name. They could also open it up to more tour companies if the demand for it grows. This is Jamaica. Everything changes quickly. Lyncoya Posted April 20, 2014 Author #45 Share Posted April 20, 2014 The next port was Cozumel. We did a Carnival Excursion to Passion Island. I've always wanted to see this island, so I was pretty geeked for this day. We had perfect weather this whole cruise, and this day was no exception. The boat ride to the island was about 45 minutes long. There is an open bar and buffet lunch when you get there. The only beer offered was Dos Equis and the drinks were pretty weak. I stuck with rum & coke and got my money's worth. ;) Here are a few pics from our day.
Lyncoya Posted April 20, 2014 Author #46 Share Posted April 20, 2014 More Cozumel/Passion Island pics... Food from the buffet. The guac was REALLY good. The BBQ chicken and the white spaghetti was as well. Lots of hammocks

Lyncoya Posted April 20, 2014 Author #49 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Cozumel was the final port day. The following day was another sea day. Again, we didn't do much. Drank on the Lido deck, relaxed on the Serenity Deck, had BBQ on the Lanai, and packed. :( This cruise ended in New Orleans, so the shops closed at 8:30 that night, but the casino didn't. I spent a little bit of time in the casino on the last night, and lost about $100. Someone won $7500 on a slot machine. Too bad it wasn't me. lol We really enjoyed this cruise. I was worried that 9 days would be too long, but it was actually the perfect amount of time to me. I wasn't too sad leaving the ship this time. This cruise had the perfect amount of sea days, which left me feeling VERY relaxed at the end of this cruise. I didn't feel rushed at all. Here are a few of my thoughts... I tasted the cruise coffee for the first time on this cruise and it was pretty darn good! I'm not a coffee snob though, but it was good to me. The food at the tandoor was DELICIOUS. This option should be available on all of the ships. The Burrito bar was REALLY good on this ship. I tried it on the Glory (before the refurb) but was not impressed. I ate there at least 3 times on the Dream. OMG...the pasta bar. The food is fabulous. A lot of people had no idea that it was up there. If you are EVER on the Dream, try the pasta bar. It's on deck 11 above the Buffet. AWESOME. There were ALOT of kids on this cruise. (spring break) I didn't encounter any rude behavior. We did encounter one teen who was drunk in the elevator. He said he had too many margaritas on his excursion in Cozumel. OMG, the guitar player on the Lido deck SUCKED! I cringed everytime I heard his voice. He sucked. Did I mention that he SUCKED! I saw wayyyyy too much skin on this cruise. The shows...the male lead singer was hilarious. Don't miss the show Dancin' in the Streets!! That's about all I can think of. If you have any questions, please ask and if I know the answer, I'll let you know. Here are some random pics. Thanks again for reading! ♥
