How to get seating for 6 at dinner on Legend

Does anyone know how we can be assured that we get a table for 6 for the early seating on the Legend? Do you have to be there for dinner the first night? We have the early seating at 6:30 which is the same time that the Legend goes under the Sunshine Skyway bridge. DH and I have seen it before but his sister and her DH have not. It is something that should be seen at least once IMHO. Thanks for any help.

Are you traveling with 6 people? If so, you'll get at least a table for 6. If not, you can request a table for 6 but requests are not guaranteed.

No, you do not have to be there for dinner the first night. You don't have to be there any night, actually. Only go if you want to.

Thank you so much for your answer. We all booked with the same PVP, one right after the other. Was hoping that she would put in a request that we all sit together but wasn't sure if they assign tables the first night or if they are already assigned before the cruise leaves Tampa. We are hoping that they gave us a table for 6.

You can ask your PVP that your bookings be "linked" and you could e-mail the Maitred with your request. You will probably need all of the booking numbers. We always have 2 bookings, one for 2 of us, one for our 2 kids, and always have a table for 4. We are all using same card to secure booking so we are automatically linked. Might be worth a shot.

And you don't physically have to be there for the table assignment. The tables are assigned prior to departure and will be printed on your sail & sign card. As others have said - Please call your PVP and ask that all the bookings be 'linked' together so that you will be assigned the same table for dinner.

Also, when you get your sail & sign cards and IF you are all not at the same table go to the dining room and ask to have your table changed - they can sometimes do this but it's better to have it done ahead of time with the bookings 'linked'.
