Mayan Princess - how crowded?

Hi,

 

Curious if someone could tell me how crowded Mayan Princess gets on Carnival cruise ship days? Is it a problem finding chairs & umbrellas? I know the resort is offered as an excursion thru Carnival, and wondered how many end up booking it. I liked the look of their all-inclusive day pass, but am hoping to find someplace a little less crazy than, say, Tabyana.

Pretty much any place on West Bay Beach will be very crowded on port days. You might get lucky and if there are only 1 or 2 ships in port the crowds will be considerably less. Either way, West Bay Beach is 1-1/2 miles of the most beautiful beach you could hope to find!
