Hello WildcatRock, I hope you are doing well! DK and I have had some great adventures lately and just enjoying life. The Pearl is a splendid MV and we shall sail her again this coming December. Take care and may you have fair winds and following seas.

How long did it take you to check in ? The last time we were on the Pearl at Miami, the queues were ridicoulously long

It was not bad at all! We walked up the front steps to security about 12:30, passed through the metal detectors and were handed the medical form. We filled out the form and walked over to the check in lines, the main line was huge, but the priority line had four people in it. My missus and I went to the priority line, waited a couple of minutes and were handed our room cards.

 

So far, that was about 15 minutes! The other line looked bad, being able to use priority boarding is a great plus!

 

Instead of taking the escalator up with took the elevator, I have some issues walking from my military career, and when the we got off we were escorted to the line boarding the ship. After about 20 minutes in that line we were aboard the Pearl, all total, about 50 minutes!

 

As for other people it looked kind of bad.
