New Bedding for Freedom?

Doubt it. Even though the whole ship is falling apart. Rusted out balconies, holes in the walls and totally worn furniture. They are only there a few weeks and they are putting in the Guys Burgers and EA Sports Bar. Doubt they will fix up anything else.

Not sure about the bedding, but unless something has changed since December, this is not an accurate description of the Freedom.

Yes, I don't think the ship was bad at all - was on the Freedom May 2013 - going on again May 18, 2014 - just wondering about the bedding/color - would be nice to get new but if not, I'm going to be happy with all the 2.0 upgrades. Thanks all for your replies.

The cabins are suppose to get new paint and carpet so I am guessing new beds are in order too... I have been apying attention to the news because I am on the May 3rd. Will know for sure this time next week.

Ooooh that would be nice. Where did you get your info from? Since I went on practically the exact same cruise a year ago to the month on the Freedom, getting new cabin décor/bedding would at least make it feel different - but the 2.0 upgrades certainly will! Like I said before, no biggy if the cabins won't be updated but it would be a very nice treat for me. Thanks for your info.

I just got off her on 04/19/2014 the week before Dry-dock. The ship was in wonderful Shape. I was on The Verandah deck mid ship and could have not been more pleased! The staff was wonderful and the Cruise was great! Bedding was very comfortable. Food was excellent and to our liking. The staff were always cleaning!

Yes, I feel the same way about our cruise last May 2013. So, if they do anything extra to the cabins this time it would be like a cherry on top! I'm not complaining. 3 weeks from today I'll find out for myself!

I've seen them change out bedding (mattresses) at several ports; including, Miami, St.Thomas, San Juan.

They constantly cycle them. Unless you have situations like Triumph's incident or Sunshine's rennovations, rarely do all get replaced during Dry Dock.
