What is the best to see and do in the French Riveria

Recommended Posts

On our med. cruise on the Brilliance next year, I am trying to decide what to do while in port at Cannes. Which should we see... St Paul de Vence or Eze? I'm unsure what the difference is but the walk up to the village of Eze looks dreadful. Also, what about Revelation Tours vs. Sylvia di Cristo? Recommendations anyone? Our other option is the ship's tour of Nice and Eze of Nice and St. Paul de Vence.

What a fun decision to have to make...

Re: Eze..walk up is not as bad as it might be as the route is loaded with shops most of the way. Do this if you love scenic water views. Stop at the hotel for coffee. Want to stay there someday.

St Paul De Vence..actually as much walking as Eze but not as much uphill. Great if you love art Galleries.

Nice: Beautiful beachside walk less sophisticated than Canne IMHO. Antiue market.

You didn't mention Monaco..it is very interesting and scenic too.Skip the CAsino..Interesting building but once inside pretty but still a casino. (Unless you love gambling.
