Can we make this bus departure from Vancouver to Seattle in time?

Thinking about taking the thru bus via Amtrak after our cruise ends in Vancouver, to SEA TAC. They have a morning time at 11:30 am. Will we have enough time to get a taxi at Canada Place to get to the bus station and check in by 10:30am?

if everything went like clockwork I'd say yes. You don't really need one hr before hand especially if you have your tickets. Have you also looked at

boltbus.com

which goes from the train station as well? Run by Greyhound its very good.

Quick shuttle has some express buses direct from Canada Place which would be the easiest but only if they are express. Amtrak and Bolt bus only stop at the border and perhaps one other quick stop.

Concur with all Dan's points above - check Bolt & Greyhound schedules first (you only need to show 15 minutes early not an hour, and they're also cheaper than Amtrak who for some god-forsaken reason charge the same price for a bus as for the train). QuickShuttle is comparable to Amtrak on pricing, but more convenient as you can get picked up right at the pier and dropped right at SEATAC - Amtrak take you to & from the train stations.

Bolt & Greyhound both stop at Bellingham en route to Seattle - long enough to run into the convenience store beside the stop and grab some food if the border crossing was on-schedule, or just long enough to disembark & load local passengers if the crossing was delayed.

Quickshuttle stops at Bellingham airport (instead of downtown) plus Tulalip, so will probably take a little longer than the other buses - but what you lose with the extra stop you probably gain from not having to get different transport from downtown Seattle out to SEATAC...
