juliemc Posted May 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Was wondering if anyone knows if Royal Caribbean are still offering the late departure program specifically for Independence of the Seas from Southampton. We are sailing at the start of June and have a late flight home so were hoping to take advantage of this. Have found information from when it was first released but not recently. cruisePAC Posted May 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2014 The Late Departure Program will be announced in the Cruise Compass. If you see it in the Compass and want a late departure, I would recommend bringing the Compass with you to Guest Services. Last year, friends that we were cruising with had a late flight from Heathrow and were in no rush to get off the ship. We went to Guest Services so that they could sign up for this. The response from Guest Services: "I have no idea what you're talking about." We responded, "It's been in the Compass every night for the past few nights." If only we had the Compass with us to show them. We were then told that if we wanted to depart the ship after a certain hour, then an additional fee per person per hour would be charged. We'll know better next time... :/
