AmoMondo Posted May 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2014 Yes you can walk from the station. There is a people mover too to help a bit. I would not attempt it as I don't pack light so too much of an obstacle course for me. If you don't have heavy luggage, and are mobile you will be able to do it. Skier52 on here has posted pictures showing the route to take. Try searching for his posts on Venice. Officially no food or beverages are to be brought onboard. That's the rule. Do they enforce it? Rarely. I don't bother as I get the Allegrissimo drinks package, so there is no point for attempting to lug even more weight.

Cross the bridge from the train station and catch the People Mover from Piazale Roma to the port. It is then a good 5-10 minutes walk then to the cruise terminal or you may be lucky enough to catch a shuttle from the People Mover stop if they are running. No drinks, even water are permitted to be brought onboard. In practice the policy is only enforced for high-revenue drinks like spirits ('liquor'). There are plenty of reviews of the Armonia on CC. For a blow by blow account there is a link to a live blog in my signature.
