Hello everyone. I am new to the community and I was wondering has anyone been on the Carnival Sensation? I am boarding this particular boat on Thursday and I want to know the experience that anyone has had when they went on it.

Sailed her twice. Last time was in August of last year. Great cruise. Older ship but she's kept in spotless condition. Great staff. Never a problem finding a lounger on deck. I would sail her again. My only complaint last year was the Prime Rib in the MDR. It was terrible, lol. But the rest of the trip was great. I love the older ships, because they have oceanview rooms up on the higher decks. I stayed on both the Upper and Empress deck on the Sensation. Enjoy your cruise.

Been on her several times. Just off a week ago!

Agree with prior post. Ship is well maintained and staff is attentive.

They now have the SeaDay brunch, and we think thats one of the best meals. My favorite is the steak (fillet!) and eggs.

Your going to have a great time!

Sailed her once would definitely sail her again. Smaller ship with a lot of local regulars cruising. Staff were fantastic ship was kept clean. Have a wonderful time!

We may pass each other on Sunday because I will be boarding her! I hope you enjoy your cruise...I know I will! :D

Thanks. I hope you enjoy yours as well.

We love the Sensation and have sailed on her many times. As other posters have stated, the Sensation is an older Fantasy-class ship but has always been spotless and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Port Canaveral has the embarkation process down, boarding is fast, quick, and easy.

The Serenity deck is big and beautiful, very relaxing. I love the outdoor seating around the buffet area and it is always a great place to watch sailaway.

The food venues on the open Lido deck are the Wok station and grille but in the middle between these two venues is the rotisserie station (the chicken is really good) and this is where they have the carved meats...one day they had a huge turkey with mashed potatos, mac & cheese, cranberries, etc., YUM.

One of the nights they will have Motown Night near the casino bar, the band was really good and had everyone up and dancing (even the hard core gamblers left their slot machines to dance, ha!).

We've always had great wait staff in the dining room and efficient Room Stewards.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by your cruise experience. Have a great time!
