Transportation and Hotel question for Port Canaveral...

Hi all,

Everyone is always so great on here anytime anyone has a question and I have tried finding a thread like this, and not having any luck. My fiance and I are going on a cruise October 2006 on the Mariner and we plan on getting married the day before we leave in Cocoa Beach FL. We have 14 people going with us. We would be flying into Orlando. Has anyone stayed in Cocoa Beach and if so, any recommendations? Something close or on the beach. What would you suggest for transportation from the airport to the hotel to the port? Would it just be cheaper renting a couple vans or using a shuttle of some sort. Thanks for your input!

For a hotel try the Radisson at Port Canaveral... http://www.radisson.com/capecanaveralfl

 

There are shuttles from Orlando to that area, but personally I would just rent a couple of vans, then you have something to get around Cocoa Beach in.
