Air miles for cruises?

Has anyone found a way to use frequent flyer miles for cruises? I have a lot of AA miles, and prefer to cruise rather than go on long-haul flights.

you might have to call them directly.. not sure this site may be just for earning miles and not redeeming

Our Visa card has the ability to redeem points for any travel expense -- thus could use them for cruises. Could possibly take airline miles and turn them into hotel miles. Expedia or Travelocity? Come cruise with us from Bali -- you will use those long haul miles!!
