Water2Moon Posted August 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2005 We leave in only a few days and I still don't know what to do in Miami! We were thinking about doing the Miami Duck tour. I have a few questions though if anyone who's done this could help me out I'd appreciate it. 1) Do we have to book this through NCL or could we just show up at the location and buy tickets? I saw that we could order tickets online but I'd rather not do that in case we end up missing the port for any reason. Do you think it would be sold out? 2) How far is it from the Port? what's the easiest way to get there? 3) Last question, would my kids enjoy this? they are 7 and 10. TrentS Posted August 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2005  Since you mention booking through NCL I'm guessing that perhaps you're on the Dawn, stopping in Miami on a Wednesday??? If so it looks like you may have to purchase the tickets through NCL because if you look at their online ticketing site it seems to be sold out on Wednesdays. They leave from South Beach, about a 15 minute cab ride from the port. Kids that age may be bored with the "tour" but will love the driving into the water part ;)
Water2Moon Posted August 5, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted August 5, 2005 Hi Trent, yes we're going on the Dawn. Do you think it will be too late to book the duck tour on the cruise itself?
TrentS Posted August 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2005 That I don't know... If it's something you really want to do I'd see if I could book it now. I don't have any idea how quickly it sells out though, or even IF it does.

TrentS Posted August 6, 2005 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2005 Good luck! If you just hit the ShoreEx desk as soon as you get onboard you should be alright.
