Carnival Sunshine Room Question

Hey All,

Have a question. Room 9191 on the Sunshine, it has the ability of having 4 guests, I only have two but like the Lido deck location for me and my young 3 year old son. Would it have one upper bunk above the couch or another one elsewhere? My parents are going with us but staying in another room. Would you deal with the unused upper bunk as long as there are not two or just book another floor? The Lido deck is appealing given I have a young son, but i'm not crazy about dealing with two upper bunks hanging off the wall. If it just has one above the couch perhaps not so bad..

That cabin has two twin beds that can convert to a king, plus a sofa bed, plus a pulldown bunk. The bunk won't ever be in the down position, so that won't be an issue.

In all likely hood since you and your son have the same last name they may have the twins made up together thinking you are a married couple. Just ask to have the separated when you first meet your cabin steward.

Beware though that since you are not fully occupying a quad cabin you can be bumped out of that cabin if they need it for a 4 person group. There are plenty of balcony cabins on the Lido deck that are just for 2 people. I would probably change to one of those just to ensure that I don't get bumped off the Lido deck.
