SArick Posted June 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) Planning a November 2015 cruise on Wonder. just wondering if there are alot of children on board seeing that it is during the school year. we are taking our 6 yr old grandson, and wondered if there would be other kids his age. im sure there wont be as many as during the summer, but just wanted to know if anyone else has taken a November cruise with kids. There are always kids on every DCL cruise people do it all the time, it is cheaper, that age group will be a lot, teenagers less so as schools are stricter and have a heavy schedule. moki'smommy Posted June 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2014 A typical cruise on the Wonder or Magic has 1000-1200 kids (0-17) on board. As DF said, the age mix does change a bit with fewer older kids while traditional US schools are in session. Reality is that a child can play with maybe 5 others at a time. Beyond that, it becomes more like crowd control. If you have 1000 kids on the ship, I'd bet that about 100 would be his age...and that's plenty to hang out with.
