pinknotes Posted June 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Hi all, We are booked into premium balcony room 6279 on Carnival Legend this year, but our Cruise is having a sale at the moment and the difference between an Ocean Suite is only $250. I was wondering if anyone has been in the Ocean Suite (and/or Premium Balcony) and whether you think it's worth the extra money upgrading? There'll be 2 adults and 1 toddler in the room. I'm just curious about whether there's a big size difference? Whether the OS rooms midship are a better location than 6279 toward aft of ship? Are balconies the same size or bigger? We've previously only stayed in an Extended Balcony on past cruises. Any input is greatly appreciated! fridaythe13th Posted June 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) The OS has double sinks, a tub and a separate makeup area. I have pictures in my signature of an OS on the Miracle. Edited June 30, 2014 by fridaythe13th
PCHENG Posted June 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) For $250, I will upgrade to an OS. Having a tub makes bathing the toddler much easier. I also like having a separate enclosed dressing area, which I use as a small office space. Priority boarding and tender are nice extra perks.
