Seattle Taxi advice

We are just back from the Solstice last Friday. I had a couple tidbits of advice that may be helpful to someone else.

I had asked the cab driver to stop for wine. I was not very clear so he took me to a high end wine shop. I just wanted "cheap" wine to carry on board. If you want to do this make sure you know where you are going. I think we spent an extra $15 in taxi fees.

Also, upon disembarkation they guy coordinating who gets into what taxi, put the 4 of us in a van. There is a $10 fee for riding in a van over a car. Had I known that I would have crammed us all in a prius!

Baggage for 4 might have been too much for a Prius, no? I've seen alot of Cruiser's who pack as if they're going on a month-long Himalayan vacation. Wives that need a new pair of shoes each day/night, kids that need a whole bag of toys and gadgets, yada yada yada.

Amazingly, the limo's are the cheapest option as far as car services go. No meter, flat rate, and they might charge you just a slightly small waiting fee to pick up something on the way.

We used this company and they were fantastic
