leruskin Posted July 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2014 because I want to know the answer too...We are thinking of Bugaloe in the day and then Reflextions at night. Would like more input for sure!
Arubalisa Posted July 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Reflextions has everything you need right there, INCLUDING a swimming pool. You can buy drinks and enjoy their bar, rent chaises, hang out on the beach. Bugaloe is just a bar which happens to be on the end of a pier. There are vendors on the beach near Bugaloe, but no swimming pool access. And the bartenders from Bugaloe won't walk off the pier to serve you drinks. At Reflextions everything is right there. Arubalisa Posted July 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2014 Is Reflections ok for small children? http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=41463750&postcount=3 Whoever said it's only a mile is full of hooey. It might be a mile from the edge of town, but it is a heck of a lot farther if your ship is parked at the end of the pier. We walked it last weekend with our three kids. There were zero taxis at our ship in the 30 minutes we waited. We finally started walking. It was a long walk. We first walked to the bus depot, and the bus driver told us to walk, that it was only a five to ten-minute walk. Maybe I'm just seriously out of shape, but it took us 30 minutes to walk it. lol BUT once we got there, it was a great day. The rentals were reasonable and their food and drinks were good and fair prices. We rented two of the large circle couches and an umbrella for $20. The water is shallow a long way out, which was great for our kids. We took a taxi back to town that dropped us off at the outdoor market.
manateelover Posted July 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2014 Is Nikki beach loud and crowded? We went to amsterdam manor last time, and loved it. Is there another beach we could go to and swim and has a nice beach restaurant, and clear blue water, with no loud music?
