T/a or online booking in

Recommended Posts

Yes Linda, I meant if you had to cancel the cruise altogether would you get that £42 pounds back? Knowing Thomsons I doubt it! Although if it was due to illness I would hope insurance would pay up:(

Agree about booking a cabin in a general area. I usually go armed with a list of numbers from say "6020 to 6040" for example. Have always manged to get one where I wanted, but up till now have booked fairly early. Thimking of trying a late booking next time.

Linda/Sheila,

Clearly I misinterpreted.

I doubt Thomsons would refund anything - but maybe somebody can refute that ?

"Thimking of trying a late booking next time."

At which point you are chancing your luck to get your choice(s) of cabin.

We booked at the travel agent and they made the phone calls to secure the specific cabins after the booking was finalised. It was fairly painful to pay 5 x £42 for two cabins but worth it when you see them in reality.

Why did you have to pay x5 for two cabins? It's £42 per cabin not per person.
