Large tables

We have a two night trip on Oriana booked. We are a group of 12 and I was wondering if they will be able to seat us all on one table in the main dining room. I have been seated on a table of ten before but can't remember ever seeing a 12.

The biggest table is a 10 as you say. Why not e.mail the restaurant manager and see if its possible for him to organise a 12. Nothing ventured.....

I don't know if this helps but when we went on Artemis ( a few years ago now!) we were on a table of 8, which turned out to be the "Captains Table" for the cruise. On 2 occasions we were joined by the Captain and companions and became a table of 12. It was slightly cosy! So I guess it can be done!

 

Have a lovely cruise - I am sure they will be able to accommodate you but I would speak to P andO in advance.

Thanks for your replies. Our trip is only 2 nights and booked on the ' cheap ' so we will just wait and see what we are allocated. Such a large table must be a night mare for the waitstaff anyway.

If booked as a saver or early saver there is not even any guarantee that you will all be allocated the same dining arrangements and whilst it is possible to change on board (although P&O say its not) it may not be very easy with such a large party. Forewarned is forearmed as they say!
