Photographers on Hal cruises

We've been cruising HAL for 10 years. Smile sweetly and say "no thank you." We have never been hounded for just saying no. Never.

 

We sailed MSC earlier this year. Tried that, you still couldn't get rid of them. HAL has been pretty good, if you tell them no, they will usually disappear.

No disrespect intended, but wouldn't it be better for your daughter to be exploring her future career choices? Make the suggestion by all means, but let her do the research to determine the pros and cons.

 

Let the decision be her's.

 

 

There are not different crews for Alaska season vs Caribbean season.

When their contract is finished, they go home. If the ship repositions from Caribbean to Alaska during their contract, they go wherever the ship goes.

 

Sometimes they will make exceptions for ones that are going to college. My daughter's first job going to school was to be a youth counselor in Alaska. They liked her & asked her to come back on the schools winter & spring break; also they let her pick the destination with a free round air. She loved this…

Ships Photographers are concessions..The company is called Ocean Imiges based in Great Britian..

 

One of their requirements is: applicants must be able to commit to an 8 month tour of duty..
