PG -- Diving and Shore Excursions

Yes. My wife and I would generally dive in the morning and take a shore excursion (we loved the wave runners) in the afternoon. Diving is convenient as the trips begin and end from the floating dock at the stern of the PG. Radisson supplies all the equipment. You don't need to bring anything except your certification card and perhaps a log book (if you keep one).

You travel a short distance to the dive sites (sea conditions can be a little rough at times) in a small craft with six to eight other guests, your dive master and boat driver. They do a great job of helping you with your gear, leading the dive, etc. The dive sites are excellent.

Before diving, they will encourage you to become familiar with their dive equipment in the ship swimming pool with a dive master. It only takes an hour and is a good practice.

Have fun. The shark dives are wonderful!
