If you are just looking for bullion you are not going to find good prices. Gold and silver prices are are pretty much consistent everywhere.

 

Heck back when I was into precious metals, I found the best deals for silver on EBay.

Personally think it is better to buy from reputable local jeweler you can trust and have relationship with. Huge turnover of salespeople at the stores in port.

Amen, brother! I have found no bargains on gold, silver, gemstones, etc. Better to trust you neighbor than some guy who lives thousands of miles from home. Research and read the horror stories from these very boards.

You can likely buy on the Internet cheaper than all of the above. If you are looking for something in particular, shop around before you go.

 

If you are happy with what you purchased and the price you paid, it doesn't matter where you bought it or if you could have purchased it cheaper.
