So we have booked our wedding cruise :) Yay! Its coming up fast, March of next year!! EEK! We booked on Royal Caribbean which is a change we were originally looking at Carnival. So now I need some help with RC since I have never sailed with them. We are doing an on island wedding with an island coordinator. My question is has anyone ever done just a reception back on the ship? Are you able to do just a reception if i don't do my wedding though RC? Any advice anyone can give would be greatly appreciated! I can't help you too much other than they have packages that would cater for that

Call them up though

I am having no luck through emailing them

 

I myself am also trying to find out what they are like for weddings as not having a lot of confidence with trying just organise a proposal package at this stage

Not sure how RC will handle this. They outsource their wedding planning, and most of their reception packages are built as add-ons to a wedding package. Since you won't be using them for your actual wedding, you might try contacting the groups department to see if you can arrange a 'private party' for you and your guests.

Sort of what I'm trying to book to do my proposal

The wedding lot can do it

Call them and as you get closer to a cruise they confirm the room you can have

 

They don't seem as good as carnival in this area though
