NCmom Posted August 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2005 I ahve just booked a 3 night Fantasy cruise for this fall. I am considering going with just me, my DD and a friend of hers. I haven't been able to find any capers from this 3 night. My questions: What are some of the activities available for an adult who is traveling without DH--I don't know how to gamble, and I am not a solo bar person? Does the Fantasy have a movie theatre, or anything that shows first run movies? What are your favorite onboard activities (and would you feel like doing them by yourself?) What are the activities/Camp Carnival available that 2 13 years olds would participate in? Thanks for any assistance--this will be my first time on Carnival. katie286 Posted August 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2005 Well, there's the spa (massage, facials, hair, etc), the gift shops, Bingo, hanging out with the kids (they won't stay with the camp all day if they go at all). the days go so fast, you won't be bored I promise. You don't have to know how to gamble to do the slot machines. Just the excitement in the casinos are fun! We are going on the Fantasy this Sunday for a 4 night. Last year we did a 5 night and I'm dissappointed that this is only 4 days. I loved the 2 days at sea. We hung around the pool area and had a ball watching the contests and games! :)
NCmom Posted August 11, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted August 11, 2005 I forgot about the spa!! What are some of your favorite treatments? Are there any craft classes, or wine tastings, trivia contests? What sort of activities do the younger teens do?
