Hi Joe,

Since you guys live in Ft.Lauderdale and have sailed in and out of Port Everglades, perhaps you can advise me on what the expected time it will take to disembark the ship and process through immigration/customs at Port Everglades? Also does it take a long time to catch a cab out of the port?

I'm trying to schedule my flight out of FLL home.

Hi Jeff,

The time it takes to get off the ship varies based on if they have the crew go through customs first or after the passengers.

Never takes very long and I would not book a flight until after noon.

Just booked RSVP river cruise next July, it sold out before ever getting to the web page. It is our first river cruise.:D

Hi folks, my partner Kevin and I just returned home from a great Istanbul, Turkey and Greek Islands cruise on the Constellation. Probably about 50 gay and lesbian folks on board, but not often at martini bar.

We are heading out to Barcelona on the 20th of October, allowing for relaxed days of seeing Barcelona, and a few fun nights.

Looking forward to meeting you all on board the ship.

Larry & I are still onboard for this sailing and looking forward to it ... a lot! We usually don't do the Martini Bar very often because of our Captain's Club drink benefits, but we will be stopping by to say hello occasionally. We are doing Select dining. See you all very soon.

Ray did once when he met the president of Amex for an award ceremony.:cool:

When I retired and moved to Fl. I gave away all my suits and had to buy one before our first t/a cruise.

Since my hubby is not joining this cruise, I am not bringing a suit nor tux this time. I figure I'll get a specialty restaurant deal for at least a couple of the formal nights.

Living in Florida, the land of shorts and t-shirts, Larry and I always enjoy getting "dolled up" when we take a cruise - especially on the TAs. Makes us feel like it's a special occasion, not just another day at the beach!
