thuyronald Posted August 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2014 Hello everyone, We have a group of 10 people and would like to do a tour when we visit Gibraltar in October. I know there are vans and taxis at the port available for tours. However, I'm not sure if those vans can take 10 people. Can someone give me info if they have been in a 10+ seater or seen those vehicles at the port? Thanks in advance. Twee
Rare John Bull Posted August 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2014 Vehicle size for the Rock tour is limited by the steep narrow roads & hairpin bends. The max size is something like 8 or 10, but that's the best I can guestimate. If you don't get a definitive answer here, e-mail the taxi association & ask them. http://www.gibtaxi.com/ENG/contact_usENG.html JB :)
Scouse mum Posted August 31, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Just got back from Gibraltar. All the taxis by the ship are pre booked tours you can't get off the ship and walk up, you have to find your own in the centre. We were all told to find a group of 8 so not sure if any did 10. I'd prebook so you haven't got the hassle of finding the taxis that take your party size and it's only a few £s more to do this. I emailed the tour companies before I went and they all replied within hours I'm sorry I didn't book ours with them.
