Why no balcony's avail???

Does anyone know why some cruises have no balcony's avail? And the specific cruse im looking have sailing dates every other week from this sept all the way til april 2016. and not one shows balcony avail. Any idea why this is the case? If it makes a difference its a 5 day from NO.

What ship? I know the Paradise never shows any balcony rooms available. I think it is because the limited amount of rooms with balconies are all suites.

 

Some ships just don't have any.

Elation does not have balcony category staterooms. If you would like a balcony on elation, you need to book a suite that has a balcony. I hope this helps.

I just took a look at the ships stateroom info, and sure enough, they don't have balcony rooms, only suites! So weird, but okay, at least now I know why its not offered!! =)

I think that's the way it is for all Fantasy Class ships.

Ecstasy & Sensation have balcony's but really are very small, you can tell they were a after thought.

Son had one last year on the Ecstasy & he swears our inside was twice as big.

I had an aft on the ecstasy it was nice and big my room too so all depends

When the Fantasy class ships were built, balconies weren't a common "thing", they were a luxury--kind of like clickers in todays cars. The ones on Ecstasy and Sensation were an after-thought and were added during an Evolutions of Fun drydock 4 or 5 years ago.

All Fantasy class ships were built with 26 junior suites on the veranda deck. 8 of those have an obstructed view.

Many of the ships now have added extra balcony cabins and or grand suite cabins. The new balcony cabins are still 185 sq ft like the balcony cabin on other ships. They have a balcony hanging on the side of the ship.

We stayed in one of these added on balconies on our Ecstasy. We really enjoyed it. It was our first cruise and we didn't know the difference, but now that we have been in many other balconies we can tell you they aren't any different than the ones that are added to the ship when the ship is built.

The most spectacular aft view balconies are on the Sensation and the Ecstasy...you look down and all you see is the water:)
