Wow! All of that technology looks amazing,but how much of it will be included in the cruise fare?:confused:

 

For example,will we automatically receive the RFID bands or are they offered for an up charge? Will we be charged for the "smart services"?

I just posted this tidbit from Royal Caribbean from their website:

 

"RFID WOW BANDS

 

In addition to Royal Caribbean’s traditional SeaPass cards, Quantum of the Seas also features WOWbands. For a nominal fee, these ready‑to‑wear wristbands require just one tap, so you can quickly and efficiently navigate the ship and make onboard purchases, as well as access Royal iQ and staterooms."

I just saw on Twitter that the wristbands will be 2 dollars each. We just came back from Disney World and used the magic bands there. They were awesome! You didn't need to bring another thing with you. No purse. No ID holders. No cash. It was really nice not to worry about losing anything.
