I believe the casino can't open until out in international water.

Also think it takes 6 hours ro so the travers the river and hit the Gulf...?

 

BTW -- looks like form your signature that you are on "my" Liberty cruise on 10/11! :D

 

I need to take that off. I actually had to change our cruise this week. We moved to the Dream Sunday.

I do think they open the casinos a little sooner going out of New Orleans I want to say about 2 hours after sail away. We've stopped by to get drinks on our way to 815 dinner and it was open.

I am looking at a fun times from the Dream from Sunday May 18th, 2014.

 

It appears the casino opens "at sail" until late.

 

"Texas Hold-em players meet" is listed at 8PM. The ship is still in the Mississippi at that point.
