Carnival Dream- Wine & Ice question

Two quick questions regarding the Carnival Dream:

 

We are allowed to keep the bottle of wine we bring on-board in our cabin, correct?

 

If I would like ice in my cabin, should I leave a note for my cabin steward asking for ice, or is there an ice machine that I should use to get ice myself?

Yes you can keep your wine with you.

Room service now brings your ice so you can call them & they will deliver it.

But I'm sure that your cabin steward will be glad to get it if you ask while he is on duty.

Some people have a standing order with their cabin steward to fill the ice bucket mornin' & evenin'. We don't because it sweats & make a wet mess on the counter.

I asked my cabin steward to make room for my wine in the frig. She took some of shelving out and soda for sale so it would fit. She also kept my ice bucket full of ice.
