queen_kathy1 Posted September 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2014 We have sailed on several cruises but for the first time we're looking to book a cruise with our 3yr old. Looking for advice on where to book our cabin, with price being a factor so not looking to pay for a suite. We will likely go with a deluxe balcony so we can have the sofa bed for our daughter and she should be ok with the wand shower and no bathtub for a week. My question is the difference in the different categories and decks - I know it's best to go a bit lower and centred to minimize motion sickness, but looking for an unobstructed view. Can someone pls recommend a good level/section for our cabin. I already read plenty about staying away from the skywalk. So DD, DE, DB or DA. Any recommendations would be much appreciated! f-mattox Posted September 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2014 My only advice would be to rethink taking a 3 year old in a balcony cabin; and since Regal Princess doesn't have any oceanview cabins, I would seriously consider an inside cabin or a different ship. I had the same thought when reading it. I wouldn't even consider having a balcony with a three year old.
