Buying liquor from the bar for the cabin

Question. Does anyone know if it is possible to puchase a bottle of rum or vodka from the bar to have in our cabin?;)

It can most definitely be pre-ordered, and I believe I've read here that some have occasionally purchased a bar setup once onboard the ship.

I know some lines let you buy a bottle from the bar, but on NCL you need to pre order it from the bar set up.

Actually on some bar menus on NCL (not sure if it is fleetwide option yet but definitely available on some ships already) it is possible to purchase bottles while onboard too, the price is just higher than pre-order price because of the automatic gratuity added.

I ordered a bottle of Vodka 2 or 3 years ago on the Pearl they charged a per shot price for the bottle the cost for the ONE bottle was over $150.00.
