Buying liquor from the bar for the cabin

It can most definitely be pre-ordered, and I believe I've read here that some have occasionally purchased a bar setup once onboard the ship.

Here is a very recent thread with a price list (which is what you'll pay whether pre-ordered or on the ship), a phone number, and other pertinent info...

I know some lines let you buy a bottle from the bar, but on NCL you need to pre order it from the bar set up.

Actually on some bar menus on NCL (not sure if it is fleetwide option yet but definitely available on some ships already) it is possible to purchase bottles while onboard too, the price is just higher than pre-order price because of the automatic gratuity added.
