Ugh. Yet another time zone/excursion question.

We're sailing on Carnvial Valor. On 9.22 we booked a cave tubing excursion through X-Streme.

 

Our itineary says that we dock in Belize at 9:00.

 

Our reservation says that the meeting time for our excursion is 8:20 Belize time (MT).

 

So, that means when we dock in Belize and it's 9:00 on the ship, it's actually 7:00 in Belize? I just want to be sure we'll have enough time to get off the ship and meet for the excursion.

Yes, Belize is right now 2 hours behind ships time leaving from Florida. It was kind of confusing for us too. The people you booked with are used to this. They will do everything to make sure you know what time your ship is on. It was nice, because that gives you more time to get to the island on the tender. You even have time for breakfast. Make sure you get your tender tickets early. I don't know if the Valor is done like the Glory, but they started giving out tender tickets at 9am. We got in line about 8:25, and got on one of the first tenders. The tender ride is about 15 minutes or so, the boats go pretty fast.
