tgnorton Posted September 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Hi, Wondering if it is typically warm enough to snorkel in January. We are on an early January cruise with stop in GC. We are from the midwest, so are used to very cold temps, but just wondered if anyone had experience of being able to snorkel OR not in January in GC. Thanks! dollysun Posted September 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2014 hi i lived in the Caribbean almost all my life. Yes, the temperature in January is fine for snorkeling. the only thing that might affect you is rough seas or maybe a cold front. No need to worry about being cold in GC in January.
