Valor - Balcony Dividers

I'm pretty sure most balcony dividers can be opened along the sides of the ship. We had a very thorough balcony cleaning on one of our cruises and they opened up all the dividers while they were working. DH went out and took a pic of "our" balcony. It was about 50 feet long with lots of chairs and tables. :) That being said, if you want your divider opened, one adult passenger from each cabin has to go to guest services and request it. Do it right after you board because they will only open a few and if you wait too long your request will be denied.

Your list is correct, those cabins open in the right direction. Have done it twice, once in the correct order and once with alittle scooting a chair around when they gave us the wrong setup! You can make anything work with the right cabin attendant!

We have been on the Valor 3x...most recently in May. The information on cruisedeckplans dot com is correct. We had 3 cabins in a row on the lido deck and they would not open the third because it was a safety hazard having the divider swing back and cover the balcony door. So just keep this in mind. I would not count on having them open a balcony divider if its not "supposed" to be open. On other ships we've had success with them opening the dividers on multiple rooms but not on the Valor.
