Has anyone been to Goffs Caye

Anyone been ???? How did you like it ??????????

 

Does the boat go to a beach or does it anchor out and you can snorkel and then it goes to a beach? Is it 2 separate stops or just one at a beach ????

We did Goff's Caye on the Glory in April. When the boat gets to the island, you have a choice of staying on the boat or getting off. The boat then takes the snorkelers out a ways. You can still snorkel right off the beach and there is a guide to show you where to go. The people on the boat are then brought back to the beach area. Both snorkeling tours are done about the same time and basically cover the same area. We snorkele from the beach and it was pretty tiring. Many people turned back.

When we were there in April, there are two port-a-potties. There are some locals selling trinkets and drinks (bottled) and snacks.
