Caribbeanqueen03 Posted October 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2014 How do you tell what category a price is for? When I do a mock booking, it just shows room available, not the category? Do I have to call to get the category? Sent from my iPad using Forums
buddylover Posted October 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) If you are doing a "mock" booking, then you are choosing the "kind" of cabin (i.e., inside, OV, balcony etc)which takes you to a page listing the different catagories within that cabin type....such as "balcony" 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D etc and the pricing for each.....that is the cabin "catagory". Is this what you mean?? Edited October 13, 2014 by buddylover
snc_cam Posted October 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2014 On your booking confirmation email, it states what "Category" you are booked in on the first page of the email.
mistycruiser Posted October 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 14, 2014 If you look at deck plans the cabin category is listed.

jaxfl Posted October 14, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2014 What is a BL Balcony?
KroozFoolz Posted October 14, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 14, 2014 What is a BL Balcony? I believe that is the designation for a balcony guarantee booking, where Carnival assigns the balcony cabin rather than you selecting your specific cabin.
