RE: Radiance tenders in Lahania

We went to Hawaii on the Radiance last year. The ship arrived in Lahaina first thing in the morning and stayed overnight and didn't leave until the next evening. I believe the tenders ran all night long.

By the way, we scheduled separate activities as well, and found this company to be outstanding. http://www.adventuremaui.com/ I wrote various times to ask questions and always received very quick and helpful responses. He even called me on the phone. I see it isn't on his list anymore, but if you want to do a luau, try the Feast at Lele - they have a website. It was fabulous, right on the beach on the main street with the ships in the background.

Just remember that the tenders run at a reduced rate at night - usually around 1 an hour. If you miss one, that could seriously mess up your timing at arriving at Haleakala. Go down early and wait a bit to make sure that they don't leave early. :)
