Carnival Glory underbooked for 12/20 - Christmas Cruise

So I got a call yesterday from my PVP. She offered me a free 7 day from Miami on 12/20. Only had to pay Port and Taxes. Plus got a 100 dollar onboard credit.

 

I don't know how I got chosen. I've sailed twice in the past three years with Carnival.

 

7 day cruise from Miami came up to 255 total for two.

I didn't get an offer, but my PVP said they are entirely random.

It's weird because I normally don't answer calls from my PVP. I answered and was about to blow her off when she said "Can you please give me just a few moments, I have some really great news for you. You have a free cruise waiting". As a teacher, it is impossible for me to cruise during the school year. She just happened to have this one. Small miracle. I was only expecting a three or four day.

Again, congrat's to those who got "the call"! Maybe someday we'll luck out and get the call too.

 

In the meantime, I'll continue to check My Offers on Carnival.com. However when I go there and repeatedly get the message "There are no offers at this time", I can't help but feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football that Lucy is holding! ;) :D

Would you know the offer code used? We have a free interior cabin casino rate (BBW4), but they won't let us book during the holidays so the December 20th we were hoping to get is not available :(

Wow I am surprised that you cannot book during the holidays. I was able to book the Splendor for Christmas week

Now I'm really mad with all the money we gave them at the casino last week. Do you know what your offer code was? We have cc2 not valid. Ptc seems valid but it's garbage 40% off (more expensive than more= merrier promotion).

Interesting thanks for the information. The frustrating part is the letter says no sailing starting 12/24/2014-01/02/2015, pretty sure that doesn't include 12/20 oh well no more cruising for us.

We got the same offer for our Glory cruise 1/10. I was literally about to call my pvp back to book a different cruise after talking to her. I got off the phone and went to get the mail where I found a letter from Carnival Casino offers! Then we booked the free cruise as well. :D

I'm not finding any itinerary that are compelling enough. 3 cruises in a year maybe there is such a thing as cruising too much.
