Does being in a group booking affect my guarantee?

I chose a 2C guarantee because a) same price, b) the least I can get is a balcony, c) I am a past Celebrity cruiser, d) I booked 9 months out.

 

The TA told me the other day that our final payments are due much earlier than usual because we are in a group booking (their agency has a block of cabins).

 

I know that Celebrity has my individual booking on file, but I still wonder what effect (if any) being in a 'group booking' will have on my guarantee.

 

Thoughts?
