Making reservations for Windows or Garden Room.

Hello,

I was on the NCL Website and it looks like it's possible to make reservations for the complimentary MDR restaurants. It even says 'Highly Recommended'. I've been on the Gem and remember having to get in a pretty long line for early dining. Does anyone here on CC have any experience making a reservation on-line for MDR prior to sailing date? Did it work? Was it in their system?
