Price Drop Question

Quick question about finding a lower rate before final payment. I found a rate called Past Guest Appreciation Event a couple of days ago and contacted my cruise vacation specialist she sent me a price protection form and I filled it out and submitted it. After submitting, I saw that it could take 7 days to hear back from them. The sale is over today so I am afraid that they won't get back to me and the sale will be over so I will be unable to get the price. Am I safe with this sale? Can I just take a picture of the price and still be able to get it? I know I am probably worrying to much but it was significant savings. Thanks for any help or advice.

If I don't hear back within a few hours, I contact Carnival by phone. They are usually very prompt during the daytime in getting back.

And I "always" take a screen snapshot of the total price; just in case I need to prove it to them.

I would call them if you haven't heard anything, especially since the sale ends today.

I put in a price drop form for the new sale "past guest appreciation sale", it was denied right away. My price is the same but with the $70 obc it is less. I emailed back that I was submitting the form for the obc, and got back a reply "that said my booking would be reviewed and I should get a response in three days". My question so, should I go ahead and call or wait with the sale ending today? Thanks!

I always call Carnival directly when I think I'm eligible for a price drop. They are always very nice and helpful and I get my price drop right away. I usually have my new booking confirmation within minutes of getting off the phone. I have never heard of the form you are talking about. Just call their 800 number and get your price drop today.

If it were me, I would do two things. First, I would do a screen snapshot showing the price and the type of sale (Past Guest Appreciation). Second, I would then call Carnival and ask about it. They may tell you they are reviewing it, but at least you will know they are. With some questions to Carnival, it has been a day or two before I got a response.
