My wife and I are bringing our 9yo son. Does the sofabed pull out? it does not look like enough room. I am sailing on the Breakaway and booked an aft balcony. thanks in advance

We are doing 3 on the Epic and from my reviews (I believe BA is similar) they remove the padding above the sofa which makes it a "sofa bed." It's not the same concept as we have in our living room where a bed actually pulls out. However, I do think it will be an appropriate size for a 9 year old. My son is 14 (albeit he is petite), will be sleeping on it, so we shall see!

This is Breakaway stateroom 8130 (M6) with both the pullout couch and the pull down bed set up. Our 7 year old preferred the couch. The pull down was a bit too scary for her (wink, wink).

suggestion..... if the sofa bed is to hard, ask for an egg create mattress...they put it on top, they are great...
